FAQs
-
No, you do not need prior scuba diving experience to join! Our trip is designed for beginners and we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish. We’ll provide all the necessary training onsite — there’s no “homework” for you to complete in advance of your arrival to Bali.
-
Yes, there are a few basic physical requirements required by our dive partners:
Swimming Ability: While you don’t need to be an expert swimmer, you must be comfortable in the water and able to pass a swim test. The test involves swimming 200 meters (or 300 meters in mask, fins, and snorkel). There is no time limit and you may use any swim stroke.
Physical Fitness: Divers must be in good physical shape. You should be fit enough to engage in moderate physical exercise — such as walking, light hiking, or treading water — without difficulty.
Health Considerations: As scuba diving does put some physical demands on your body, you will be required to submit this medical form before diving. If you have any specific concerns about diving, please consult your doctor before booking the trip.
If you’re unsure whether this trip is right for you or have any specific health questions, feel free to reach out to us — we’re happy to help!

Don’t worry! We understand that learning to scuba dive can be challenging for some, and we're here to support you every step of the way. You’ll have ample opportunities to practice and build your skills in the safety of our swimming pool before venturing into open water. Our experienced instructors will be with you every moment, offering personalized guidance and tips to help you feel confident.
That said, if you find that scuba diving just isn’t for you, we offer plenty of alternative activities so you can still enjoy the trip. Our goal is for everyone to have a memorable and enjoyable experience, whether you're scuba diving or not!
-
If you complete the full course, you'll receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is the internationally recognized gold standard of scuba diving and allows you to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet). The full cost of this certification is included in the trip cost.
-
We’re more than happy to welcome certified divers! If you're already certified, we can tailor a program to suit your level of experience and interests. You can enjoy daily fun dives or, if you're looking to level up, you can work towards additional certifications like Advanced Open Water or Nitrox. These specialty courses will allow you to dive deeper, extend your limits, and experience more of the underwater world (please note that additional costs may apply).
