Group sizes typically range from 8 to 15 participants depending on the trip and destination.

No, you don’t need to know anyone beforehand! Our group trips are designed for solo travelers, couples, or friends looking to meet new people.

Absolutely not! Many of our group travelers are solo adventurers, and our trips are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. It’s a great way to meet new people, make lasting connections, and enjoy the shared experience of traveling in a group.

The cost of the trip usually includes the following:

• Accommodation (all our trips include private single-occupancy rooms, unless otherwise requested)

• Most meals (breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, depending on the itinerary)

• All transportation (group travel via private buses, trains, water taxi, or other local transport)

• Activities and excursions (such as guided tours, hiking, scuba diving, etc.)

• Tour leader throughout the trip

• Local tourist taxes and fees

Items not typically included in the price are:

• Flights to and from the destination

• Travel insurance

• Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, optional activities)

• Drinks (alcoholic or otherwise; however, fresh drinking water will always be made available to you) and any meals not mentioned in the itinerary

• Visa fees or entry/exit taxes (if applicable)

We provide comfortable, safe accommodations that reflect the local culture and enhance your travel experience. Depending on the destination and the trip package, you might stay in:

• Hotels (3-4 star standard)

• Guesthouses

• Eco-lodges or boutique properties

All Begin Again trips include private rooms for each traveler. In the event you would like to share a room with another traveler, please let us know so that we can adjust the tour cost appropriately.

Yes! While the itinerary is packed with exciting group activities, we also build in free time so you can explore at your own pace. Whether it’s relaxing at a local café, visiting a cultural attraction of particular interest, or simply wandering around the area, you’ll have opportunities to enjoy some personal downtime. You can also opt for optional activities suggested by the tour leader if you prefer a more structured experience during your free time.

Our group trips are designed to be fun, active, and accessible, but the physical demands vary depending on the specific itinerary. Some activities may involve light hiking, walking tours, or water sports, while others might be more relaxed with plenty of downtime. For trips that include scuba diving, you will be required to submit a short health verification form before participating. Packing lists will vary depending on the destination, but generally, less is more! You’ll receive a detailed packing list closer to your departure date, tailored to your specific trip.

Because we make advance commitments—like booking hotels, excursions, and local guides—we’re unable to offer full refunds for last-minute cancellations. This helps us ensure that your spot (and every detail of the trip) is thoughtfully prepared in advance.

Yes. All participants are required to review and agree to our Release, Assumption of Risks & Binding Arbitration Agreement prior to travel. This is a mandatory step to ensure your safety and our shared understanding of the adventure ahead. You can complete the form here.

Travel insurance is mandatory for all Begin Again trips. It provides coverage in case of unexpected situations such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or flight delays. We suggest that you purchase a comprehensive policy that suits your needs before departure. A trusted travel insurance provider we recommend is World Nomads.

Booking is easy! Simply submit the “Request to Book” form on your desired tour page or contact our customer service team via email (info@beginagainadventures.com) to reserve your spot. We require a deposit at the time of booking, with the final payment due 90 days before the departure date. Early booking is recommended, as our trips often sell out.

We’re happy to accommodate most dietary preferences and restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal). Please inform us at the time of booking, so we can ensure suitable meal options are available. For travelers with special needs or mobility concerns, please contact us in advance, and we’ll work with you to make any necessary arrangements.

No, tipping is not expected. We don’t believe in asking our guests to pay additional fees on top of the trip cost. Rest assured, the price you pay covers everything, including gratuities for our tour leaders, drivers, and local service providers. We want you to enjoy your experience without worrying about extra costs!
